Rapid rise in pandemic indicators, 11 Covid-related deaths

There were 1,414 new Covid cases registered in Bulgaria in the past day, which was a rise of 1,202 in comparison to the day before. 60% of the newly infected are non-vaccinated citizens. 16.6% of 8,514 tests were positive, compared to 16.3% on Monday, according to the coronavirus.bg portal.

The number of registered patients increased by 636 to 11,475. A total of 167 infected people were admitted to hospitals. 133 of those admitted to hospital treatment or 79.6% were not immunized. The total number of hospitalized patients rose by 15 to 643. There are 47 patient in intensive care.

11 people with Covid died in the past day. 10 of them were not immunized. The number of recoveries reached 767 on Monday. 1,046 vaccines were administered.
