8.89% coronavirus positivity rate in Bulgaria in past day

242 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours out of 2,723 tests performed, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data show. 8.89% of the tests have returned positive result.

24 Covid-19 patients have been admitted to hospital in the past day. 886 patients are being treated in hospital, as 81 of them are in intensive care units. 5 people with an established coronavirus infection have died and 149 have been reported cured.

The fourteen-day coronavirus positivity rate stands at 7.35%.
