Two landmark buildings in Bulgaria will be lit up in red tonight – the National Palace of Culture in Sofia and the St. George the Victor mausoleum-chapel in Pleven as a sign of support for people with bleeding disorders.
The initiative is organized by the Bulgarian Hemophilia Association to mark World Hemophilia Day. The association is also planning a symbolic flashmob at which red balloons will be released into the sky simultaneously in Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna, Burgas and Pleven. The organizers are urging people to wear red on this day as a show of support.
