Covid-19 in Bulgaria: 2,944 Newly Infected, 127 Fatalities

Yesterday, those cured of coronavirus were more than newly infected.

The latest figures show there were 2,944 new cases documented after 16,242 tests, according to data from the Single Information Portal. Positive tests were 18%.

Since the beginning of the epidemic in Bulgaria confirmed cases of coronavirus infection are 378,059.

The active cases as of April 14 were 69,692. In intensive care wards there were 799, with a total of 9,799 being treated in hospitals.

The most new cases are in Sofia, Varna, Burgas, Plovdiv.

Case count by regions: Blagoevgrad - 91, Burgas - 253, Varna - 282, Veliko Tarnovo - 67, Vidin - 21, Vratsa - 43, Gabrovo - 30, Dobrich - 70, Kardzhali - 47, Kyustendil - 44, Lovech - 57, Montana - 42, Pazardzhik - 124, Pernik - 53, Pleven - 66, Plovdiv - 270, Razgrad - 24, Ruse - 106, Silistra - 25, Sliven - 50, Smolyan - 41, Sofia region - 128, Sofia city - 692, Stara Zagora - 126, Targovishte - 18, Haskovo - 76, Shumen - 59 , Yambol - 39.

There were 127 people who died of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours. In total, by 14 April there are 14,746 victims of the infection in our country.

The are 3,995 people who have recovered. All in all, 293,351 are already registered as cured in the information portal.

The vaccines given are 10,503. The total doses administered since the beginning of the inoculation campaign in Bulgaria – 590,495.
