Covid-19 in Bulgaria: 1,919 Newly Infected, 69 Deaths

In the past 24 hours, 1,919 new cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in Bulgaria, data from the single information portal show.

Yesterday, 10,648 tests were made - 7,748 PCR and 2,900 antigen. With a positive result are about 18%.

As of April 4, there were 10,521 covid-19 patients hospitalized. In intensive care wards, 758 patients are being treated.

During the day, 3,993 doses of vaccines have been given, and since the beginning of the immunization campaign they have been 502,078. With a second dose 100,564 people have been vaccinated.

The documented active cases are 69,177.

The disease claimed the lives of 69 people in the last 24 hours, cured are 3,484.

Since the outbreak of the epidemic, there have been 13,507 deaths, 269,575 people have recovered.

The total number of confirmed carriers of SARS-CoV-2 virus in Bulgaria is 352,259, of whom 12,129 are medics.
